Ringing in the new annum with our first newsletter of 2019, we’d like to wish you all a slightly belated but joyful year ahead! Despite the unrelenting migraine that is our shifting political sands, we’re counting on it being one of South East Dance’s best years to date, particularly as we celebrate our 21st birthday. It’s a true coming of age as construction of The Dance Space continues apace and we prepare to take possession of the building later this year and countdown to the public opening in 2020. We’ll be digging deep in our archives to highlight some of the remarkable artists and work that we’ve supported over the decades and look forward to sharing that with you over the coming months. We’d love to hear from you if you have any stories, images or footage you’d like to contribute under the banner #SED21 on our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram profiles.

Meantime, here’s our latest news; We’re putting a call-out for artists and performers interested in appearing at our forthcoming Our City Dances festival in June, introducing future faces of contemporary dance at our Spring Dance event and celebrating ‘Topping Out’ The Dance Space with some of Brighton’s luminaries.
