We no longer offer short training courses at South East Dance.

We have decided to invest in the long term development of artists rather than offering short one-off opportunities.  However we realise our courses have been very popular and you can register your interest for any future courses we may run with Charlotte Miles.

Book a South East Dance Training Course

Our tried and tested courses developed with our specialist expertise are available for external organisations to book and run for a group of participants either in the UK or internationally.

We have created innovative tiered training courses to develop the artistic practice of dance film makers of every level of experience.

The training has included:

• Introductory course One weekend for choreographers who are new to working with video.  A task based course giving an introduction to dance film practice and theory.

• Intensive Intermediate course A three weekend course for dance artists/choreographers with some experience of making dance film/video.  Participants develop a dance film idea and shoot and edit over three weekends.  These courses have been delivered by professional artists such as Miranda Pennell and Becky Edmunds.
