Forward Motion (2008-2012)

Forward Motion is a package of high quality British screen dance expertly curated into three programmes. Featuring historic, seminal and ground breaking films, Forward Motion creates a moving snapshot of Britain's prolific screen dance output. The collection of 22 historic, seminal and ground breaking films demonstrates the diversity and durability of British dance and the influence it has had throughout the world.

The programmes are available for screenings worldwide fully supported by extensive technical and marketing guidance. Forward Motion is a British Council project co-produced with South East Dance, with support from Arts Council England.

Forward Motion has been screened internationally including in India, America, Greece, Australia, Hong Kong, Spain, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Portugal & China.
