Still from Junk Room (c) Lucy Cash

Here is another chance to listen to Lucy Cash's talk at Dance for Camera Nights in Manchester as part of moves09 on Monday 27 April 2009. Dance for Camera Nights is our regular artists events featuring critical debate with a guest speaker and a work in progress discussion.

Lucy Cash and Simon Fildes explored the idea of narrative in relation to non-fiction and fiction works through Lucy’s own work and other examples. In informal conversation different approaches to narrative were considered and Generique, a game based creative task investigating how we begin to construct ideas and narratives in relation to the information we are given was undertaken as a playful experiment involving members of the audience.
