Forward Motion
What is the Forward Motion Collection? Forward Motion is a British Council project co-produced by the British Council and South East Dance and supported by Arts Council England. It is a collection of contextualised DVDs of existing dance film and video, showcasing and celebrating UK dance on screen.
The first Forward Motion programme was developed in 1999 and has toured to over 20 countries since 2000 in a variety of events including screenings and lectures alongside education seminars in Korea; tours around hard-to-reach towns in Brazil; a monthly discussion series in Germany and a video conference event in Indonesia.
Forward Motion will include four DVDs of content, a promoters pack, web based educational resources and an informative website.
