Community and Learning

Each year South East Dance runs education and community programmes for all sorts of people. We run training and professional development activities for adults who teach dance in all kinds of settings, from youth clubs to schools.

We try to increase the amount of dance activities in the region and to raise the standards of these activities. We test out new ideas like running a Youth Dance Committee or asking young people to make their own screen dance. We believe in collaborating to make big, exciting things happen so we also work with others in the South East, in the UK and internationally to make all these things happen.
