We are delighted to report an uplift of funds from our two core funders; Arts Council England, South East and Brighton and Hove City Council, for investment from 2007 onwards. Dance for Camera Festival - 30 Nov - 2 Dec 2007

Calling all dance film makers. Click here for more information on entering your film for our annual screen dance event. This year the event will be held as part of Cinecity, the Brighton film festival. The event will celebrate ten years of producing and curating screen dance, with three days of screenings, discussions, forums, installations and networking events. More....
 

Dance for Camera Nights

Our next event is on 30 August 2007 from 6-9pm. The main focus will be on Music, Footsteps, Foley and Sound Effects in Dance for Camera with featured artist Billy Cowie. Lone Dances

Lone Dances is a two year programme to commission a series of dances that explore the solo form, to be created by a professional choreographer and performed by a non-professional dancer.

Often at community dance platforms we are used to a stage crowded with eager performers. We want to experiment with our approach to creative community dance by stripping the process down to a one-to-one relationship between choreographer and performer. More...
