Billy Cowie's UK premiere

We are delighted to present the UK premiere of Billy Cowie's 3D installation, In the Flesh, as part of our Dance for Camera Festival 2007. This unique magical installation took 12 months to create and has already been seen by hundreds of people internationally. South East Dance present our tenth Dance for Camera Festival in Brighton from Friday 30 November- Sunday 2 December. We've got the serious and the seriously fun, with nearly 50 films to choose from. Artists Update

We have recently hosted events in Brighton, Oxford and Kent to update artists about our work. A follow up event is planned for Brighton in December which is open to all artists throughout the region. For more information and to book a place click here.

Youth consulation tool kit

Last year we consulted with young people across the region about their thoughts and interests in dance. The findings led to the idea of forming Youth Dance Committees, led for young people by young people. The consultation has been included as a case study in the newly launched English National Youth Arts Network (WNYAN) Toolkit.

Artists offer

South East Dance offer in house support to artists; providing advice and guidance through one to one surgeries. To arrange a meeting with one of our members of staff please contact Emily James. We can offer free desk time and facilities at the South East Dance offices in Brighton to dance artists. Availability varies depending on demand so do get in contact with Emily James if you are interested.
