Supporting South East Dance

Delivering excellence and creativity in screen dance and community practice is at the heart of all our work. We are a creative business with a portfolio of projects and not an agency that manages dancers. Our projects are local, regional, national and international. We devise innovative professional development opportunities for the dance sector and develop and run a diverse community and learning programme of dance activities targeted at specific groups.

We are supported by Arts Council England South East, Brighton & Hove City Council and the charitable trusts and foundations listed here. However, we are keen to engage the business community in supporting our screen dance and community and learning work:

• We have been championing screen dance for the last 10 years and have an outstanding international reputation
• Our films are groundbreaking and win awards, and our partnerships are diverse, crossing from the public to the private sector
• We commission, produce and distribute screen dance in the UK and devise innovative professional development opportunities for the screen dance sector in our quest for excellence
• We are the strategic lead for community dance development in the South East and devise and deliver innovative projects through working in partnerships
• We specialise in improving the lives of those who are socially excluded, through dance as an artform and as a tool
• Our programmes raise the standards of teaching dance in challenging contexts, through intensive and pioneering training programmes
