Here is another chance to listen to David Hinton's sell out talk at Dance for Camera Nights in Brighton on Thursday 5 February 2009.

David, screen dance artist and South East Dance Fellow 2009, led the discussion on the topic: Whose language are we speaking? When the dance and film worlds come together, who gets to call the shots?

Using examples from his own films Strange Fish, Touched and Birds, and from Hollywood movies like West Side Story and Singin’ in the Rain, Hinton explored these questions and more.

'We were able to see
our short films projected onto a screen, other than a monitor for the first time...It's beneficial to receive feedback and feel part of a network.'
