Are you an adult who knows a young person aged 13- 18 who is interested in dance? If so, South East Dance are running a series of workshops which may be just your thing! As part of Adult Learners’ Week South East Dance is offering taster classes in a range of styles including Bollywood and Samba for young people accompanied by adults. There are opportunities to take part in this throughout the South East region on Saturday 17 May 2008. No previous experience in dance is required, just an enthusiastic approach!

To register your interest e-mail: lauren.allary@southeastdance.org.uk

Adult Learners’ Week is all about celebrating and raising awareness of the fact that we all learn everyday often without realising it and that taking the next step and going on a course needn’t be like going back to school.

This year’s event takes place throughout Britain during Saturday 17- Friday 23 May 2008. Every year, thousands of events and tens of thousands of people get involved in activities to promote adult learning - providing learning wherever it happens.

Whether you want to gain new skills or qualifications to get a promotion at work, or want to learn more about a subject you’re interested in, adult learning could be the ideal solution.

There are almost a million courses available in the UK, so there’s bound to be one to suit your needs.
