Artist Development Programme

Mentor Bank

Mentor Bank twins established dance professionals based in the region with emerging artists and recent graduates.  The programme aims to provide a structured approach to peer learning and support, assisting young professionals to ‘find their feet’ as professional movement based artists, with a particular focus on questioning and developing their creative practice and arts management skills.

The Mentor Bank programme is a fantastic opportunity to receive professional advice and have a chance to taste and share vital information from brilliant people in the dance industry. It is wonderful to be able to consult with a mentor who has much more experience and knowledge in a one to one manner and feel that there is someone who can provide guidance and support to the creative and practical development of my work. – Yael Karavan

"This opportunity has already informed the progress of my current work and opened up new areas for me to explore and develop".

Catherine Long, Mentee 2010-2011
