moving Voices

moving Voices has now ended. Thank you to all the volunteers who have been involved with the project and helped to make it such a success over the past three years. We are now looking at ways of extending the legacy of the project and plan to create new volunteering opportunities for young people in the region in the near future.

moving Voices is a volunteer dance project for 16-25 year olds across nine regions in the south east of England. Opportunities include:

workshops in dance, web building, press and marketing, fundraising
a chance to make friends
dance performance and classes
dance teaching awards
set up events
make dance films
working with specialist dance teachers and choreographers
get involved backstage; i.e. stage management, lighting, sound
designing the moving Voices interactive website
volunteering in the South East Dance offices
photography
fundraising
volunteers Award Scheme
press and publicity
