Dance For Camera Nights

two artists talking (c) Matthew Andrews

Dance for Camera Nights is our regular artists events featuring critical debate with a guest speaker and a work in progress discussion.

Are you making a dance film?

Would you like some feedback on your work-in-progress?

Are you looking for a safe environment in which to show your work to other dance filmmakers for their opinions and advice?

Do you have a burning question about your film and would like to put it to a group of people who share your passion for screen dance?

Artists Feedback

As part of our Dance For Camera Nights forum, South East Dance is offering an opportunity for you to share your work-in-progress with other artists from the screen dance community. This sharing takes place within a structured session that focuses specifically on the questions and issues surrounding your work. The session will be facilitated, allowing you to access feedback, advice and input to help you complete your dance film.

'We were able to see
our short films projected onto a screen, other than a monitor for the first time...It's beneficial to receive feedback and feel part of a network.'
