At Cinecity, the Brighton Film Festival
Call for entries South East Dance is looking for the best new dance film and video made specifically for the camera and shot for the big screen, for screening at Dance for Camera Festival 2007. If you have a dance film or video made from October 2005 to date, which is under 30 minutes in length, and from any country, which you would like considered for inclusion in our festival, please submit your film to us.

South East Dance is delighted to inform you that our Dance for Camera Festival 2007 will take place this year from the 30 November – 2 December, as part of Cinecity, the Brighton film festival.
To celebrate ten years of producing and curating screen dance, South East Dance will present three days of screenings, discussions, forums, installations and networking events over the course of a long weekend.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our participation with Brighton festival over the past 9 years and are very excited to be moving to Cinecity where we aim to contextualise screen dance through the critical debate which is central to a festival focusing on film and video.
True to past Dance for Camera Festivals’, we will be presenting a programme of the highest quality international and UK screen dance whilst providing an opportunity for artists working in screen dance to come together, to share their practice and to celebrate with us ten years of South East Dance producing, commissioning and curating screen dance.
