To support three established artists over a 12 month period from January 2009 – December 2009

Deadline for applications: 6pm on 30 September 2008

This is an open call for applications from established screen dance artists, living and working in England to apply to our Screen Dance Artist Fellowship Scheme supported by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. (www.esmeefairbairn.org.uk)

The Screen Dance Artist Fellowship Scheme is a new initiative based on South East Dance’s 10 years of experience in delivering training to screen dance artists. We have learnt that artists benefit highly from more sustained periods of development and packages of support tailored to the particular needs of the individual artist.

This scheme is specifically targeted towards mid-career and established artists, who wish to focus on research and development that would benefit their future career in screen dance.  We are looking for artists who wish to be inspired, to learn new skills, and those who do not usually have access to professional development opportunities aimed at a high level.
